We’ll plunge in and experience one of the wettest places in the country, Kitugala! We will white water raft on the banks of the Kelani River, offering grade three rapids that will leave us completely thrilled.

Caving in Sri Lanka will be a memory cherished for a lifetime. The activity is known as speleology by the locals involving four things: exploration, surveying, mapping and photography of the caves.

We’ll grab our backpacks and go trekking in Sri Lanka through the Knuckles Mountains which will offer us an amazing view of flora and fauna, Adam’s Peak, local food, navigating rocks and closely seeing the tea plantations.

The highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, Bambarakanda waterfalls, will give us the feeling of conquering the world as we choose from two paths on the climb up. The experience of climbing the mighty rocks will be both challenging and thrilling. This is one of the richest biodiversity areas, with forests, grasslands, and thick vegetation, making it ideal for nature lovers.

Our honeymoon dreams come true with a trip on a catamaran cruise which will allow us to soak ourselves completely in the warm sun rays and relax. We can also ride on the Parakrama Sea one of Sri Lanka’s man-made lakes where we can enjoy snorkeling and swimming.

Spanning three nautical miles in length, we’ll test the Sri Lankan waters of the south coast. We’ll try for a fresh catch along Bar Reef, Sri Lanka’s largest reef.

We’ll find a wide variety of marine creatures in warm Indian Ocean currents. The main reef is located off the coast of Mount Lavinia and is home to some of the most beautiful aquatic creatures such as Lionfish, rays, and nudibranch.

We’ll see the world from a completely different perspective as we fly up in the air in perfect serenity. We can capture some of the most beautiful photographic moments. Colorful hot air balloons floating in the clouds offers one of the most surreal and majestic views.

With over 1,000 miles of shoreline and a continental shelf spanning 10,000 square miles, Sri Lanka offers a wonderful place for deep-sea fishing. We can fish for tuna, jackfish, barracuda, groupers, and red and white snappers around Bentota in the Indian Ocean. With expert fishermen guides we’ll be taken on a four-hour deep-sea fishing expedition. With any luck, we’ll get to enjoy our catch for dinner!

We can’t wait to cycle at our pace through the quaint village of Galle. This 12km ride will take us on to the graveled paths, through the mangroves, paddy fields, grasslands, local villages and their shopping stalls and sparse jungles.

An unforgettable experience for a lifetime! We’ll rip through some waves in the warm waters of Weligama beach Arugm Bay, Hikkaduwa, and Unawatuna.

Sri Lanka is one of the most desired locations for windsurfing because of the golden beaches, warm waters and sultry atmosphere. We’ll need a certain mix of balance and strength. But the thrilling moments of surfing over the magnificent waves will give us a feeling of elation and memories to last a lifetime.

Sri Lanka is full of history, culture, and outdoor adventure. A tropical island with fishing villages, Buddhist temples, towering rock formations, tea plantations, and landscapes of sandy beaches and lush forests filled with abundant wildlife.

In Sri Lanka monkeys run free, through ancient ruins and small villages, we’ll observe their behaviors and get some great images to show off at home. We can experience elephants in the jungle close to Habana. Or take in whale watching, the Sri Lanka waters are full of blue whales, sperm whales, fin whales, and dolphins when they migrate for the season in various areas.

A blend of adventure and leisure at the same time we’ll wake close to the trails and the chirping of birds all around at the Rainforest Camp in the Kitugala Forest Reserve. We’ll be able to try all the adventure activities such as jungle walks, adventurous stream jumps, mountain biking and river trips.
